Oh, David, I feel for you! I’ve had conversations like this, but your balls are far bigger than mine.
Seriously, read the whole thread. Ahahahaha.

John just told me I’m not allowed to hang gay curtains.  This is me, bummed.

Well that blows. >:(

Just finished the design on front of my new sketchbook.

Words to live by! I fucking love drawing banners.

Notes from my lecture today, interrupted by a quick diagram for a friend on how to draw hands. Tablet versus tear! It’s the best method to break down the shapes.

This is the Gainsborough painting I was talking about. Note the way the composition of the two girls creates a butterfly shape. The daughter on the left, distracted by the butterfly and heading out of frame later went mad, while the daughter on the right, facing the viwer acted as a stabilising force.
INTERESTING STUFF.

a story for a holiday

allmadhere:

The urge to ask him to narrate this so I can animate to it a la Signe Baumane or Andy London is great. God damn it, Pete. Maybe I should ask…

ahomeboyslife:

when i was a little human being i went to central school. when i was around 8 or 9 there was a black squirrel outside of the window of mrs. hansons class. who i incidentally once called “mom” by accident and did not live that down the entire year. i thought it was so weird that their was this one black squirrel when all the rest of them in our neighborhood were brown.

the university of northwestern wanted its campus to appear more dignified so they imported black squirrels at some point far earlier in this narrative to appear more like oxford.

i thought he was magical as you could only catch glimpses of him now and again. then one day he disappeared.

turns out when they imported the black squirrels the brown squirrels hated them. they killed them all.

this story doesnt have a point or a beginning or an end. im not sure its entirely true. but thats why its a story.
